If you have purchased an ATV or UTV and you do not have the title we can assist you and get the title. You will need to file for a bonded title to obtain the title on the off road vehicle. Because ATV's, dirtbikes, and UTV's are off road vehicle and they do not require motor vehicle registration there is no presumptive value in the system. To obtain the retail value of these type of vehicles you will need to refer to NADA guide. NADA guide will give the average value of the vehicle and Texas will use that value and multiply it by 1.5 to obtain the bond amount. You will be charged a title application fee, DMV fee and surety bond to get the title. Since these vehicles are not required to be registered the state of Texas does not charge motor vehicle sales tax. If you have the title and need to transfer the title in your name you will only pay the title application fee and you will receive the title in the mail in 3 to 4 week.
