Spectra Photographic offers a variety of photo restoration options to bring new life back to your family's memories and history. Our services range from color correction, repairing damage to photographs (scratches, spots, tearing, etc.), colorization, to simply improving upon existing quality (too dark or too light). We can also help you back up your printed images to digital files, making it easier to share with family and friends. If you have a large collection of family photos you want archived to digital, volume scanning prices are available. We offer reasonable, competitive rates and take pride in ensuring that your memories are preserved for years to come. You will be provided with a consultation and quote, free of charge, before the process begins. All restoration options include basic color corrections and a restored digital image delivered by email (for CD add $5.00). The original image is returned in the condition in which it was received. The client is responsible for all shipping charges incurred. Spectra Photographic and its employees are not responsible for any damage incurred during shipment or processing of original images. A scan or snapshot of your photo may be submitted (and is recommended) for a more accurate quote. If you are submitting an image from your own scan for restoration, please ensure that you are scanning at a minimum quality of 300 dpi, and save it as the highest quality .jpeg as possible. Your photo can be submitted to show contact info and will be reviewed and a quote provided to you. If you decide to move forward with the services requested, a 50% deposit is required on the total estimated cost and the remainder is due upon completion, before the delivery of the finished product. If an email address is available, I will provide you with a watermarked, low resolution preview of your image(s) before final payment is required. All payment forms are accepted and images will be delivered once payment has cleared. Online payment through PayPal is available for credit card payments. Shipping is provided through USPS Priority Mail, which includes tracking and insurance up to $50. Spectra Photographic and its employees are not responsible for any damage incurred during shipping. You would need to file a claim with USPS. $20-30 Minor Restoration: some fading, a few scratches and/or spots on image, or if basic color correction is the only service needed $40-75 Moderate Restoration: numerous scratches and/or spots, tears or holes, large areas of discolorization, heavy fading $75+ Severe Damage and Reconstruction: missing parts in image, stitching of image pieces back together *severe damage must be seen for a more accurate quote *Images larger than 8.5 x 11" will incur additional scanning fees, based on total size. *Colorization services are available and range from $15-50 extra, based on the detail and time needed to complete. *Image scanning services are available (prices are up to 8.5 x 11" in size - please contact for a quote for larger sizes) at $5.00 per image. *Bulk scanning (up to 8.5 x 11") and archiving of photo collections: -up to 25 scans: $2.00 each ($30 minimum) -up to 50 scans: $1.00 each ($50.00 minimum) -up to 100 scans: $0.75 each -up to 200 scans: $0.60 each -200+ scans: $0.50 each *Prints and framing are available also, with discounts applicable for volume.
