Essential Job Duties: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand plumbing layouts according to specifications. Measure, cut, layout, assemble, and install plumbing and piping. Mount brackets and hangers on walls and ceilings to hold pipes. Hang assembled pipe in hangers or other supports. Cut and drill holes in walls or floors to accommodate pipes. Fit valves, couplings, or assemblies to tanks, pumps, or systems using hand tools. Clean and prepare construction sites, including digging holes or trenches. Drive company vehicles and work at heights or in confined spaces. Move construction materials to necessary locations. Assist and support Construction Projects as needed. Make independent decisions to make repairs to piping, fixtures, equipment, etc. Follow all safety rules, practice safe work habits, and report unsafe conditions. Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in employee and safety handbooks. Communicate effectively with Customer's and office personnel daily. Commitment and dependability are necessary. This role requires patience, practical problem-solving skills, and manual dexterity. Physical Requirements: Stand and walk for long periods of time. Use arms and hands to reach, handle, and manipulate objects. Lift and carry 50 pounds with or without accommodation. Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other climbing devices. Work while in stooping, kneeling, crouched, and crawling positions. Perform assigned tasks in all environmental and weather conditions, including severe cold, extreme heat, wet or dry weather, and high winds. Perform assigned tasks in noisy conditions, close proximity to moving mechanical parts, working in high exposed levels, and in cramped quarters with proper PPE. Other Job Details: A high school diploma/GED. Completion of a trade school or apprenticeship is preferred. A valid driver's license is required. EPA License required. PA and/or MD Plumbing License preferred. Jobs are full-time, year-round positions. The normal work schedule is 8 hours daily, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime.
