***TAYLOR'S DAY SCHOOL*** OPEN: MONDAY-FRIDAY (WEEKENDS- drop ins- and after schoolers AVAILABLE IF NEEDED) 6:00 AM- 6:30 PM Provided: - Breakfast and Lunch. - Snacks - Juice - Milk - Fun learning environment. - Potty training. - Full curriculums for all ages. Not Provided: - Diapers - Wipes - Formula - Pacifiers - Bottles Provided to Parents each month: - Calendar of each month with daily lessons/ activities that we will do every day. - A more detailed list of the lesson plans for the month. - Calendar with our lunch/ snack menu listed for each day, so that you know what your child is eating each day. - 'How am I doing?' report. In this I will list all the things we learned that month, what we still need help with, and anything else I feel the parents need to know and/or work on at home. - I will hand out a daily report as well- listing diaper changes, nap times, what we did that day, what we ate, and how well we got along with other friends. - If your son/daughter is in the 'potty training' process (like mine) I have a calendar that will show you if they went all by theirself, how many times they went, etc. It is a fun way of learning how to potty like a big boy or girl. OUR CURRICULUMS: - Every month will be set up differently. Children get bored and are easily distracted with the same ole things. Since routine is always good, we will always be on the same routine, just different learning categories/ strategies. I follow a infant/ toddler curriculum. That way nobody is left out, and its always so much fun! EX: July- Week 1: Numbers Week 2: Learn about Oceans Week 3: Fun in the woods Week 4: Learn about bugs EX: August- Week 1: Bird week Week 2: Fun with Rhymes Week 3: Baby bear and Friends Week 4: Dianosaur week So, as you can see, no matter what the age, we will all be able to learn something new every week. Parents will be able to follow with the monthly calendar I hand out each month, what we are learning that week. A little ABOUT ME! My name is Taylor Carroll. For those of you that want to do a background check, please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have or need. I am just as paronoid when it comes to my son. His name is Vayden, and is 2 years old. I have been through the ringer with baby sitters, daycares, etc. Prices are ridiculous, and sometimes you just don't get the best care for your child. I am very open and honest, and want the best for every little boy or girl. I am a 24 year old, caucasion, female. I have a passion for children, and have worked in child care on and off for about 8 years. I started off on my child care journey by working for Berry Best Academy in Forney, TX. I worked there for about 2 years, then was approached by one of the single dads who had 2 children. He offered me a job being his Nanny. I took the position and loved every second of it. I worked for him for about a year and a half. He could not afford to pay me anymore, so I went off to Whispering Farms Montessori, where I was an assistant teacher in the toddler room for about 2 years. I then had my own son, and decided I needed to get a 'real job'- which was crazy, since I could have had really cheap child care. BUT we live and we learn, right? So, since I had been working a normal office job, my child sat in daycares for 2 years, and I found a part time/night babysitting job, to help pay the day care expenses. I just decided here recently to start my own little daycare buisness. I am not registered, however, I do plan to in the near future. I just want to spend time with my son, and take care of yours at a cheaper price than a regular daycare! We are in the process of buying a home in Rockwall, TX. We will be moved in by the end of July, and I will be available August 1st. I can provide you with references upon request.
