Come Hunt the Elk Capitol of the world without needing to get a second mortgage on your house. 9 day hunt with private and Public land with tent camp discounted down to as low as $1195 in a elk migration corridor! Hunt the migration Corridor for your elk this year on a Semi-Guided with the ability to camp on the private property to increase your success. This is a historical elk migration corridor. Just north of Craig about 15 miles and west 1 mile is 640 acres of historical thoroughfare that the elk use every year. On this 640 is the destination honey hole for the elk to travel to during their migration. The next mile or 640 acres is a BLM piece that is landlocked. The landowner will meet you on the property and show you where the fence lines are located, where the elk feed. Water and day bed when going through the property. The owner will allow you to camp on his property and even recommends it because it tends to be more of a migration route area then one that the elk stay in for a prolonged period. With that said it is not uncommon for the elk to travel across it from east to west, and two days later take the same route and travel from west to east and go back on the mountain again for a few days until the next snow fall. Remember elk are in elk habitat from where they summer to where they winter so traveling back and forth along this corridor is very common and you are on a two-mile corridor. You will be hunting in GMU301 and GMU003. Currently there are Licenses available for private and public land for the 2nd and 3rd season for Bull Elk and Cow elk if you hurry. If you are not into camping there are Motels in town where you can stay at reasonable rates if you contact Discounted Hunts and Vouchers LLC. The camping is usually $100 per person but he has taken that off so that with the trespass as you have you lodging covered as well. Currently there are bull and cow elk licenses that Watchdog through Discounted Hunts and Vouchers can obtain for you and have it mailed to your front door by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife. We do this to make Colorado s complex license application process to not prevent anyone from hunting the state that has more elk than all the other 6 western elk states together. In addition, you can hunt Deer, bull elk and Cow elk durring this same hunt if you have a license for each, for no extra charge for this Semi-Guided Trespass hunt. You can also hunt all 9 days of second season or all 5 days of the 4th season. This is such a deluxe package that the outfitter fills it easily every year easily that he has saved the option to interview a group of 4 hunters before accepting them. In addition, if you are the 4 hunters that get this hunt, he will even discount the price to you. You will not find this quality of a hunt anywhere at this low price. This hunt is for the 1st 5 days of the 3rd season, the best season for deer and elk combined hunts. Although you will not pay extra if you have all 3 licenses in you pocket for all 3 animals fir the 3rd season in GMU005. This is a 5-day hunt with meals in a Lodge and outfitter in house assist. This is valuable for help getting your elk out, let alone knowing where the best honey holes are located. On this hunt you will see elk, and if you know how to shoot you can take a couple home with you. You can hunt a 640 acre of private land with a great lodge to stay in and meals provided. The Outfitter is also there so you can discuss a Plan of Attack or your morning elk hunt that will give you a giant leg up in being successful durring your hunt. On your western boarder you are adjacent to 3,000 acres(Al most 5 one square mile chunks.) of BLM land, On your Eastern boundary you are directly connected to 10,000 acres(Almost 16 one square mile chunks of Designated No Vehicle travel, foot or Horseback only Property.) National Forest. You can use ATV and such on the private ground, but the BLM requires a permitted sticker. Yes, you will see elk, but you muse hit it to take it home. It is like being dropped in a herd of elk and needing to shoot your way out you must hit them. Currently they are over the counter bull elk licenses and watchdog can even get you a cow license if you wish in most cases.
